Oi! I have to do the other mods but I have Terezi the Great Dragon and I have Meenah! I hope you like eet! :D
I see that you guys really like Terezi and Meenah, and you’re all such darling sweethearts! You’re kind to all your followers, and are really knowledgeable
I’ve noticed a lot of questions of God Tiers, asking about them, so I figured I’d set the record straight. It is not as hard, nor complicated, as people make it out to be.
There are two ways to go God Tier:
First, you die on your Quest Bed (Quest Coon if you’re a troll) while your Dream Self is still alive. Your Dream Self is then teleported to a matching Quest Bed (Coon) on Skaia, where your consciousness merges into the Dream Self as it Ascends to God Tier. Your other body remains on the Quest Bed (Quest Coons may explode for some reason??).
Second, your Dream Self has died, or else you have died and been kissed, therefore being brought back to life through your Dream Self. In either case, your Dream Self no longer exists, and thus you cannot God Tier on your Quest Bed (Coon). You die, instead, on the Quest Slab that is located in the center of the moon of your respective Dream Planet (Derse or Prospit). Current trends suggest the death must also have been a result of the entire moon being destroyed, though there is no canon example otherwise, so the data is skewed somewhat. From the destroyed moon, if you were on the Quest Slab, you will then rise as God Tier.
Sometimes people ask whether it matters which “Self” (Dream Self, Real Self, what have you) matters in these deaths. Dream Selves share a conscious with your Real Self. Think of it like a sort of hivemind, or a psychically linked clone. They share the same memories, are the same people, only Dream Selves occasionally disappear when you wake up. It does not matter if your died and became your Dream Self, or your Dream Self died, as long as the current Real Self is the one dying on the Bed, Coon, or Slab.
There is also a common question about Jade and how she became God Tier when she was killed. It is simple. Jade threw the body of her Dream Self (which had been found by Grandpa Harley, and then stuffed and put on display, as is family tradition), into her Sprite, which was then prototyped by Bec. Jade’s Dream Self was then brought back to life, but also with an unknown amount of time where she had died, making her a more separate conscious than a usual Dream Self, but a still living Dream Self nonetheless. Thus, when she died and was placed on her Quest Bed, her Dream Self (or, Jadesprite) Ascended to God Tier, fusing their consciousness into one.
As for Aradia, she was dead before the session even started, and since nobody had kissed her in time, her Dream Self died as well. Her Dream Self was then placed in the Derse crypt, on her Quest Slab. Shortly before Derse was destroyed completely, the ghost of Aradia in the Soulbot exploded, making the Dream Corpse the only Aradia left, making that body viable for Ascension. Hussie has also stated that Aradia is a special case.
I hope this has been a helpful and informative little guide of Going God Tier, and I hope this will make answering Going God Tier questions easier to answer.
