An anon wanted me to do hi-res layouts for the alpha kids’ houses, so I’m starting off with Dirk’s apartment. Unfortunately, the only room I can piece together for his apartment layout is his bedroom, but the basic layout is the same as Dave’s house: the bedroom door is the blank spot next to the fan, which leads out to a small hallway, where Captain Snoop’s pimp bust is blocking the entrance to Dirk’s room. In this hallway, there is a door across from his bedroom that leads to the bathroom (you can’t see it in the hallway panel, but it’s there. The door that you do see at the end leads to the main room). Because of Snoop, Dirk has to leave and enter his room through the secret door inside his wardrobe (I could make a joke here about how he has to come out of the closet, but I’ll refrain even though I think I’m fucking funny sometimes). We don’t see where exactly that door goes, but I speculate that it leads to outside the Strider apartment, because we later see him entering the main room of the apartment through the front door. This is all we see of the main room of Dirk’s apartment. Sorry, this is the best I can do for his apartment; Hussie didn’t give us much to work with for the alpha kids.

sadly there was a small list for jane but it’s been removed… there’s no rp guides for her either ugh (added to the to-do list) 

i usually use http://local.aaca.org/bntc/slang/slang.htm not all of it is relevant but it’s helpful! i personally like cat’s pajamas and rag-a-muffin. some words like tomato and gams are outdated. 

also i’d be aware that some words have changed context so your roleplay partner might not understand the meaning you’re using. for example. bimbo used to mean a tough man but it’s come to be associated with ‘blonde/tanned/stupid women’….

also, if you wanna go all the way with jane then there’s cute resources like this one! that shows you old cooking books and how they would refer to words

i also go back over jane and jake’s text and re-use words that they’ve already used because they’re so fucking a+++ and no-one just uses a word once in their whole life. it’s not cheating shhhhhhh

okay huge recommendation time! i’ve played this map with my friends and it was so much fun, although had a lot of issues. it looks like they’ve now been ironed out for a version that’s compatible with 1.6!

The goal is to gather special blocks from the landscape towards a final goal to build a staircase and Ascend, then complete the final challenge above. The worlds of SburbCraft are large however, and it is 100% suitable as a map to play standard Minecraft survival on, before or after the goals or even ignoring the dungeons entirely.
