I have a hobby of recreating things from Homestuck, which is where most of the themes in Pesterchum came from. I’ll be sharing themes I make soon, but first, here’s everything you need to MSPA-ify your desktop.
(If you are having trouble installing anything here, refer to this post.)
Most of this stuff can be used for a Mac, too.
Included in this .zip is as follows:
CURSORS
DESKTOP ICONS (Many more than the ones in the picture!
ROSE’S SHORTCUT DOCK (For RocketDock - Not that hard to copy and edit into something else, link to the program its for is included.)
WALLPAPERS
iPHONE WALLPAPERS
WINDOWS 7 START ORBS (Including the program needed to create and assign them.)
By now most of this stuff was done by me from someone else’s work, edited. Don’t worry about giving credit but make sure to link anyone that asks to this post.
Have fun.
(PLEASE REBLOG SO THAT YOUR FELLOW FANS CAN ENJOY THIS AS WELL!)
So I spent some time compiling a lot of rips, all of which I had done myself by hand. Hopefully the quality wont be screwed up by tumblr.. Some of these rips are probably already done, but they just happened to be in my own backlog of to do rips so I ripped them anyway, enjoy!
Here’s Terezi sittin’ on the floor like a cutey! She may have her vision back which was and still kind of is “LIKE WHAAAAAT” but at least her eyes are really gorgeous.
But I swear the updates aren’t even about updates anymore. It’s about ripping them before anybody else and getting the most notes. *cry* SPEED RIPPING.
Also excuse my shitty attempt to quickly fill in the part of her scale mate thingy cut off.
Jade’s house is unique, different from Dave’s, Rose’s, and John’s in that none of the rooms actually connect to each other in the layout. This is because it’s all essentially one big tower, with the rooms stacked on top of each other and accessed via stairs and transportalizers.
It is also completely and utterly impossible to arrange in a photoset so that it is aesthetically pleasing, which is something I’m really sore about after trying a million different combinations to make it look as nice as the other layouts, but this is the best I can do. xD I separated each room into a picture of its own, and they are arranged from the topmost room (Grandpa’s laboratory) downward to the ground floor.
That FUCKING atrium though, Jesus dick. I don’t know what Hussie was thinking when he was constructing that room. None of the panels match up, there’s weird transparent lines everywhere, you have no idea what the hell is going on in two corners of the room because you never see them… basically, it sucks. I had to freehand two walls because there were no panels of them. I’m satisfied with the overall result, though — I think it’s as accurate as possible. Also the Grand Foyer haha what. Let’s not even go into that. Let’s not. But hey, I finished it and that’s all that matters!
So that’s it! The last of the four houses. Thanks for sticking with me, everyone! :D As much of a bitch as it was to get these put together, I really enjoyed making them!
Rose’s house was very… interesting to put together, since you don’t get to see it all as completely as you do in the Strider and Egbert households. I was really frustrated because I ended up with three floating rooms and had no idea of their location, but then I looked at the exterior of the household and really worked to figure out where everything was based on landmarks such as the front door, which we know is in the living room, and the exterior pathway and observatory, as well as on notes I took, such as when Rose mentions that her mother’s room is in this direction. Using those, I was able to cobble together a general picture of where everything belongs. I have two layouts to share: the exterior, where I put other information that may or may not be useful to people, and the interior, which contains all of the rooms shown.
Rose’s house was a thousand times harder to do than John’s and Dave’s. That living room. Those stairs. I actually had a dream last night about those and I ended up waking myself up because I was frustrated. xD But I’d gotten a few requests to do the Lalonde house and was determined to finish it, partly because I could use the resource myself, so I really hope it’s satisfactory! I can’t even tell anymore, I’ve been looking at this too long. Oh man.
I got a few requests to do the layout for the Egbert house after doing the Strider apartment (and oh my god, you guys, I’m still like. Reeling in shock at the number of notes on there. Why are you all so amazing. ;___; ) so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Unfortunately, the fact that there are multiple levels and rooms and everything is so complicated to lay out, so I really hope it’s not too confusing and bluh. D: I wanted to fit everything in there, and this was the only way I could figure out how to put it.
Also, Mr. Egbert. I love you so much, but your room is a right pain in the ass. Gotta give me something to work with here, man! John’s reaction flash is not cutting it.
I spent an inordinate amount of my time piecing together panels to create the completed layout of the Strider’s apartment. This was a pain in the ass, since the way the panels were cropped sometimes meant that there were gaps in between wires, or parts of objects were missing (I had to build off of some of the posters to complete them, and the worst one to fix was the pile of Bro’s crap in the kitchen — the blue and grey hats and half of the thing was cut off!) and in order to complete certain areas, I had to overlap multiple panels. I enjoyed it, though — actually, if anyone else has another location that they want to get a complete layout for, I’d be happy to give it a stab!
Although I know this is probably only helpful for me, since I made it as my own personal resource for writing — the next chapter of Houston, We Have a Problem is largely set in this room, so I wanted to be able to see everything clearly and get a sense for where everything is. Anyway, this is the main room of the apartment. Through the transparent door is a short hallway that has two other rooms: Dave’s bedroom, the only bedroom in the apartment, as Bro sleeps on the futon, and the bathroom.
Also, you’ll have to ignore the multiple Daves. xD It was inevitable, given the way I had to piece it together. Explain it away as time shenanigans.
