I hate to say it but you guys kind of acted like dicks towards that last anon. Get off your high horse seriously, this is the reason why most people hate the Homestuck fandom is because instead of ignoring repetitive questions or just managing them with grace, you act like a jerk.

some mods have more patience than others!! I try as hard as I can to be nice to everyone, but I’m also new here, so I’ve been less worn down by people hiding behind grey masks insulting us.

being a mod is a REALLY hard job, and it’s stressful, and sometimes we aren’t always nice, and I’m sorry about that. but you have to understand that with this kind of work, you can’t have time to be patient sometimes

sorry for being vague then. a specific question that comes to mind is; is there a specific way comics are done? as in formatting, programs, spirting, style.. ect... or can it be free for all. Is there a good place to post this comic when it gets made? tumblr doesn't scream the best medium to start a comic.

as far as mediums go, I’d recommend http://mspfanventures.com/ as that is what the website was made for

in general, the rules all depend on how much you want it to be exactly like homestuck. there are lots of good spriting tutorials on the masterlist. there’s a lot of cool stuff you can find by just googling it.

in general, homestuck is 650x450 (although 650x650 is also used, and a bunch of other sizes but yeah, you get the point) .pngs, .gifs, or .swfs. it’s usually in an “ms paint” style, as in it’s all pixelly and stuff, which is an effect you can get by actually drawing in ms paint or turning off anti aliasing in whatever you use to draw.

a lot of things can be found on the masterlist that are very helpful. the wiki is also helpful. reading homestuck is very helpful

my advice is read homestuck, and read all the wiki pages but ignore the theory stuff. and then ask specific questions if you need to instead of “please give advice” because that’s way too vague

When Jade becomes god tier, she gets of the powers of Jadesprite (and Bec). But when Dave ascended, why didn't he get giant orange wings or whatever from Davesprite?

jadesprite was partially prototyped with jade’s dream self. when you go god tier, its your dream self that becomes god tier.

davesprite is just alternate timeline dave (haha fake dave). dave’s dream self was right by the tumor when it went splodey and he went god tier, so his god tier self woke up right by the green sun

idk why dave didn’t wake up right inside the green sun and get incinerated immediately. idk why the green sun has the mass of two universes and yet seems to be completely harmless if you stand right next to it. hussie
