AnonymousOh gosh, that’s going to be a bit of a challenge. The easiest, in my opinion, is to do what Hussie does for different scenes, like Prospit and Derse, for example, and just take an image of an actual yacht and manipulate the image until you get the effect you want.
The other option is to pull up as many references of yachts you can and have them all open as you start to sprite it. Remember, it’s okay to be a little messy, that’s actually a bit of a defining trait of the mspa style, and you can always go back and clean it up if you feel it’s a bit too messy for you.
