haha but other than her, Asclepius (god of medicine) had a staff with a snake wrapped around it and snakes are often associated with him in a positive way
there’s always ouroboros too, but that’s obviously already been used in the comic..
ahah uhh there are a few snakes and serpents in greek mythology but not a lot that are.. too mentionable. overall snakes are associated with vitality and often immortality in greek mythology, if that helps

just curious, how many times have you guys re-read homestuck? it took me forever to even read the comic one time
since nobody else has answered i guess i will? truthfully i’ve only read it once„, i’ve re-read certain parts multiple times, but i’ve actually never gone back and knocked out the whole comic

i was wondering if beforus is a more hemospectrum accepting (like it being okay to show your blood color without being shamed) place than alternia, since a lot of the alpha trolls seem to show off their blood color rather than the dull colors the beta trolls tend to wear. is this because of the differences in cultures, or just how hussie wanted to design the alpha trolls?? im not sure if you'd know the answer, but id appreciate it if you did!
