the first is dying on your quest bed on your planet! to do that, though, you need your dreamself alive
the second is dying on your quest crypt which is located on either derse or prospit, depending on what kind of dreamer you are. you only need one self alive in order to ascend here, so it’s a backup plan in case you’ve lost a self, but it’s also harder to get to
