Do you know what determines your aspect? I've seen rough guidelines for your class, like John having his Nana playing the game, but I've never gotten a good explanation of aspect assignments. aspect is dependant upon your personality so that your title either builds on your strengths or strengthens your weaknesses.
for example, vriska is the thief of light because she takes no responsibility over herself and blames it on bad luck. by having the aspect of light (synonymous with luck), then vriska can only blame herself as there is no bad luck surrounding her any more.
the reverse example would be terezi, who is the seer of mind. terezi is stated to be natural at manipulating people without needing ‘fancy powers’. therefore terezi’s role builds on her strength of understanding the thinking processes of everyone around her.

ok so like a bloodswap au i was designing has some major plot points that all hinge on my ceruleanblood having mindcontrol-like powers (less control and more strong influence but whatever) but someone told me that only the serkets have psycic powers and are also highbloods. is this true? can i still give my ceruleanblood powers or would that be incorrect to canon Anonymous
well, the serkets are ceruleanbloods so i’m sort of confused here?
but aradia, tavros and sollux also have physic powers of some description–the rule for who does and doesn’t have them hasn’t been stated. judging by what the comic shows, it looks like it’s mostly the rustbloods–then the highest land dweller. vriska has always been viewed as ‘overpowered’–logically she’s the one who makes no sense on the scale to have powers.
anyway, long story short is that it doesn’t matter and anyone can have powers because there’s nothing stating otherwise in canon and canon doesn’t even have a logical pattern to it.

Could you give a short or detailed (If you have the time) to just quickly explain the storyline or meaning?Thank you again~ i think you’re talking about the table top game? i haven’t played it because of a lack of resources that may or may not include real life friends so i can’t tell you much about it, apart from that it’s basically in the style of dungeon and dragons
In many respects the Homestuck RPG runs off of the same basic system that underpins the latest edition of Gamma Worldtm or the 4th edition of Dungeons and Dragonstm on which it was based.
i would assume that knowledge of dnd or something similar is needed, according to this sentence
we assume you must have a better then passing knowledge of Homestuck (of mspaintadventures fame) as well as at least a rudimentary grasp of the concepts of a table-top RPG
you’re probably better off reading about such things for yourself here: and apparently you don’t even need real life friends to make a group to play!

it’s like minecraft/terraria.. and i suppose people have likened it to homestuck in the sense that you’re an alien that builds things. i’ve seen talks of people thinking of modding it so that you can basically play out sburb on it, which would be interesting if it was ever done!!
basically it’s one of the only early access games that are actually worth paying money for and a lot of people in the homestuck fandom have started playing it

Do adult trolls have single colored horns canonically? i’m 99% sure it’s a stylistic choice based on the fact that it happens to other characters who canonically have striped horns
