Could you explain grimdark? Does your class or aspect affect it in any way? Thank!

we don’t know exactly what grimdark is because our only example was rose. we don’t know if it affects class or aspect, although there is a fandom headcanon that is inverses your aspect

grimdark just seems to be a loss of touch with reality due to horrorterrors, and the only way we know to stop it is dying

So, in Aradia's Soulbot Video Log we see Sollux glowing purple. Any reason for this, or can it be chalked up to an unknown fraymotif since they were mentioned in the previous panel?

it depends what movements you want ripped? we can make gifs out of rips but not gifs of whole scenes.. if you get what i mean?

I've been reading Homestuck for a few months, and now I'm attempting to make a fantroll. While doing this I realized, I am so confused as to what a fetch modus, sylladex, and strife specibus are! I've read up on them and I'm so lost...

okay so a sylladex acts as an inventory where your character will ‘store’ all their stuff; storing these items is called captchalouging.

a fetch modus is the type of sylladex they have. for example, rose jade has pictionary–where she draws the object to store/retrieve them.

a strife specibus then dictates the weapon your character will use!! multiples of them are stored in a strife portfolio. the back of the strife specibus cards have a selection of weapon kinds that you can use–your character just selects one and then picks up the corresponding weapon to use it.
