exiles are simply carapaces who, through shenanigans of some sort, go through skaia’s defense portals and end up on post-apocalyptic earth! I’m sure you don’t need them in order to have a successful session, but every session we’ve seen so far has had exiles (well, we don’t know about the beforans’ session, and caliborn’s dead session doesn’t have any exiles but dead sessions are a super special case)

ok I thought I’d make an actual formal introductory post since this is my first day on the job!!

hi, my name is alex, but I guess I go by mod a here. you’ve probably seen me around here before, since before getting hired as a mod I spent a lot of time harassing the mods and making creepy flashes to scare the heck out of them! well, they got so tired of me bugging them that they figured if they made me do some of their work maybe I’d be more compassionate and understanding (I won’t, but it was a nice try).

but yeah, I’m here to answer asks and rip things! for the first time ever this blog has somebody who knows how to edit/use flash animations, so that’s kind of my unique “thing”
