By your deductions, what would a Thief of Hope do?

okay i’m so bad at these and they end up really ramble-ly but i’ll give it a shot.
a literal translation would be stealing ‘hope’ for self-gain. hope appears to be both the literal meaning and connotations surrounding faith.
as a destroyer of hope, eridan seemed to be able to manipulate 'holy faith and belief’ into a weapon, in order to destroy the literal hope of the matriorb
so, i would assume a thief of hope would steal the 'holy faith and belief’ of others, to gain a literal 'object of hope’ within the session, that would benefit them in some way??
I can see mage as create, what with Meulin forcing relationships and Sollux coding Sgrub though. while i can see where you’re coming from, it seems too weak of a connection
i’m not so sure about meulin forcing relationships? could you expand on that for me?
but sollux coding sgrub happened before they entered the game, making it even weaker support for a mage’s role. while some pre-game behaviours do reflect on the title in game (ie. vriska blaming everything on bad luck, and then gaining a title where she essentially ‘steals’ all the luck) something as loose as sollux’s hobby wouldn’t correlate back as well?
what does seem to correlate between meulin and sollux, is possession and manipulation through other sources – both of which they seem unable to control. sollux hears voices of the dead, while meulin is manipulated by kurloz. this seems to be a much stronger link between the two, rather than personal hobbies and interests?
but of course, anything could be correct – i’m just trying to stick with the most logical theories that present themselves with canon evidence!!
You could make a case that Kanaya's meddling, auspisticing and efforts to help Tavros and Karkat are part of Sylph: Help/Heal. And Bard: Invite? Summon? see i do wonder that, but then it’s how much of that is down to personality? like with mages, there are good theories about them being channels of manipulation but.. perhaps that’s just impressionable personalities or slightly weakened minds? aa it’s so impossible to know
but no i’m still not sure on bard.. invite is closest? i’m personally thinking of something akin to catalyst but that doesn’t do it for me either? augh it’s a really frustrating class, especially with gamzee being the main basis for speculation
What don't you agree with?

a knight shows more evidence of protecting rather than fighting, i would be very surprised if hussie ever reveals a knight fights over protecting
i would also say a maid supports over fixes, but i can see how the latter makes sense, ideally it would be better to see jane reach god tier but…
sylph may not exclusively be educating; helping would be a better word but kanaya hasn’t shown any traits to correlate with anything outside of aranea’s displays
bard is hard to put a word to, but initiate still isn’t it? i don’t know what a replacement word would be but… hmm
again, i don’t know what the right word for mage would be, but they’ve shown no evidence of creating? in fact, mages haven’t really shown what their role is.. so i suppose on the other hand i can’t really point it out as a potential error because there doesn’t seem to be any logical role at the moment
i mean the top two are important points and the bottom two are just being picky; i think the rest of it is a very well thought out list! at the end of the day they’re still interpretations no matter what viewpoint you come from! also, god knows what pages actually do but i think ‘bring’ is a very suiting word for the information that has been giving on them
