I can't find any actual canon evidence for this, but I had the same question about Cronus' use of 8s, and it was explained to me that it was theorized he used 8s because he was the descendent of a Serket in some.. capacity. Not sure how.

is it possible for dead players to float back to Derse/Prospit out of the dream bubbles into the current session, or would that be impossible given that they played a different game? I'm confused. :(

To the anon, kissed by blood player can't be a contribution to becoming a rainbow drinker, because Porrim and Kanaya mention that becoming a rainbow drinker is a /Jade/ trait and has happened before in the brooding caverns. We don't know the exact circumstances needed, but we know that Karkat or the Sufferer weren't going around kissing a lot of dead jadebloods okay because the jadebloods were underground.

While fuchsia and violet blood is exclusive to seadwellers, could a seadweller have a blood color besides those two? Ex: A teal blooded seadweller.

I looked on the wiki but I can't find why a knight player is needed in breeding the genesis frog. I know a hero of space is needed. I also can't remember if the actual comic said anything about that. Is it just coincidence, or does it need to be a knight player? Can it be another kind? Also, what if the hero of space is the knight? Would they need another knight player, or could they do it on their own?

Would a mutant of a higher caste, say a cyan blood live longer than Karkat would since their blood is a mutation of a higher caste?
