ive been noticing you guys are answering a lot of quadrant questions lately and i think its important to note that troll relationships are different than humans in such that hopefully the person you date (matesprit) for humans would also fulfill a moirail status for you as well - and while a lot of quadrants can be transferred to human relationships, their rules dont make much sense in our society, because troll society is different!

with context, getting “locked into that sort of relation” means being their auspistice would have ruined her chances at any red relationship with vriska (as eridan supposed she wanted a less pale relationship).
