Why did everyone's lusus/parent/guardian have to die?
Anonymous

because that’s just the way it is I guess! something about path of the hero/dealing with suffering and loss and stuff. also maybe to detach players from their old lives and instead make them focus on what’s ahead

Okay this may be really stupid to ask but, Mituna is blind?
Anonymous

mituna is not blind! that anon was wrong

Remember the short spans of time when Homestuck updated almost everyday? That was fun.
Anonymous

no. what the FUCK are you talking about

Could I have your opinion on this? For my fanventure I have a sprite made out of a comic book character (first prototyping) and a dead player (his dream self is dead). If he dies and god tiers on his quest crypt inside his moon, would he look like the original player or a mix of the two prototypings (like dog tier Jade)
Anonymous

it’s disputed I think but most people believe that if you die on your sacrificial slab you don’t go into your dream self, just whatever body you’re currently in becomes god tier! in that case, your character would look like the original player

if that’s not true then yeah, he’d look like both prototypings!

i'm trying to think up a alien race for a fan adventure but i don't have many ideas and I haven't read up on how I could do it. do you have any tips?

I feel like an asshole for directing you to google and I know search results vary from person to person but there’s probably a really good chance that you have some great resources on the first page of results here

none of the mods are super great at creating alien species, I don’t think. sorry! :0

So, I started reading Homestuck the other day ( for the 1st time ever) and I got about half way through act 1 when I say that someone read it for you on YouTube. I get kinda confused listening so would you recommend reading it instead?
Anonymous

I’d personally recommend reading it, but I’ve always been more of a visual learner than audio! if you don’t know, try both and see what works best with you

I’m pretty sure let’s read homestuck isn’t current with the latest update at the moment anyway so you’d have to start reading the actual comic eventually

Sorry, I should have been more clearer there. What I ment was who would have control? The person or the lamp? I read somewhere that the second always has control, but I'm not sure if that's actually true.
Anonymous

I imagine the person would have full control in that situation seeing as lamps do not have consciousness of any sort

I think it’s theorized that’s why kernelsprites need at least one dead thing! because otherwise they just

What was your catch-up page

mod a’s was right before [s] flip

mod b’s and mod d’s was cascade

mod c’s was “somewhere in act 3” apparently. she’s so old she doesn’t remember anymore

mod m’s was during scratchstuck!

I'm working on a fan adventure, but I'm stuck on something. If a sprite is fused with a dead person first and then something like a lamp as the second, what would it end up like? If this was already been answers then I am very sorry for wasting your time by being lazy, and I would love it if you could link me to it.
Anonymous

it would look like the combination of a lamp and a dead person!

I imagine a humanoid form with a lamp head or something? I don’t know. you’re probably more creative than me

i dont want to spoil myself by clicking on the last page so far, but how many pages of homestuck are there exactly? i think im on 5,600 or something around there.
Anonymous

there are 6851 pages at the moment :0
