On the MSPA Wiki, it says that all successful sessions have a TIme and Space player. Does that mean the Alpha kids' session is unwinnable? And what about the Cherub session, since Caliborn killed Calliope? Is that one unwinnable as well?

Okay I'm sorry for asking one more question about babies I promise this is the last one. So when you say they're the same babies but not, are they just, like. Alternate timelines?? Baby goes into portal a, comes out portal b and c? (sorry if that doesn't make sense at all it's like one am here)

except, the splitting technically happens right before portal entry, so it’s more like

baby meteors launch (8 of them)
TIMELINE B1: the 8 babies enter portals going to B1 earth, beta kids session loops back around and john ectobiologizes 8 babies (return to step 1) and then later the kids slowly go to the B2 session (see step 3)
TIMELINE B2: the 8 babies enter portals going to B2 earth, alpha session is fucked the heck up but then kids from B1 (see step 2) arrive and make things less fucked up but then things get fucked up again, but hopefully they will get less fucked soon

no karkat only dealt with 24 because that’s the number of unique troll grubs that were alchemized, but there ended up being 48 trolls spread out over two different timelines. that has been my point this entire time. math

uh I’m pretty sure you’re getting beta and alpha mixed up? he cloned the alpha kids, the beta kids he created with gene mixing

beta is john’s group, alpha is jane’s. I know it’s confusing, sorry!

anyway, he had to make both the alpha and beta kids because there was no ectobiology in the alpha session, so all the kids had to be created in the beta session
