Do we know if adult jadebloods were banned from Alternia, too, or are they just basically kept prisoner in the brooding caverns? It's hard to tell if their presence is somehow necessary for mother grubs.

slick and snowman seem to be as healthy as it gets in current canon

however vriska and eridan seemed healthy enough!! and mindfang/dualscar seemed fine too.

on the other hand, gamrezi and vristav are abuse. equius and aradia seem to be dubious as well, seeing as aradia’s lack of consent over everything equius did with her body.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but was it ever explained where "bro" comes from when Gamze uses it, as trolls don't have siblings?

but this is actually one of the times where i can offer headcanons!! we see in act 5 that terezi picks up human slang from dave, and then karkat and vriska start picking it up from terezi. we also know terezi knows a lot about humans from her lusus. logically, it wouldn’t be impossible that her lusus taught her of relationships akin to brother and sister and she was the one who started using such words first, and gamzee and karkat and everyone else using bro picked up on that and ta-da!! trolls using bro and sis without fully understanding what it means

but like i said, canon doesn’t work like that and it’s never explained.

Idk if it's just me but I don't think that's true (or maybe it's because of the alt universes) but remember sollux's lusus? It was supposedly really incapable and needed to be chained to his roof to keep out of trouble while mituna's looked the same but in the description it was basically the opposite? Like it was capable and was free to walk around and stuff. Idk it's just my take on it

yeah that’s true with the captors but the situation with them is different

why there’s no reason for tinkerbull or pounce de leon to change ‘personalities’, it was sort of necessary for the captors as its reflecting the abilities and capabilities of mituna and sollux. it could also be another callback to the differences in 'culling’–so on beforus a lusus may act to protect and nurture a troll if they fall under the category of needing culling, where as on alternia the troll needs to learn how to survive so the lusus won’t protect them or they’d be setting them up for 'culling’ when the time came for it.

however, for all intents and purposes we can see a pattern emerging that the lusus the beta trolls had are the same as the ones the alpha trolls will have. just alternate versions.

Would it be correct if the pre-scratch and post-scratch trolls had the same lusus? (Since Damara locked Rufioh's lusus in a chest and it was tinkerbull.)

Are you sure you dont like Gamzee, i mean think about all the great stuff he's done. Things like poison the session, raise the guy whos out to kill everyone, and kill several characters who never saw much character development as a result. Oh! He also likes to mercilessly beat up others now, i almost forgot.
