Do you have any tips for changing a sprite's hair that is black to a lighter color/plain white that is simpler than just inverting the colors and slowly outlining it pixel by pixel? Working with only MsPaint?
unfortunately not 8( if you were working with another program other than mspaint, i would suggest selecting the space around the hair and expanding that selection, then filling in that space to sort of help you find the general outline and work with that from there, but because mspaint was designed to be very simplistic there aren’t many features to work with 8(
though you did say pixel by pixel, that’s kind of tedious so you could just make the brush bigger to quicken the pace you’re working at? ; v ; sorry we couldn’t be of much more help

So, I've heard about the hemospectrum influencing the likeliness of having psychic powers and the physical strength of trolls. Is the difference between blood colors that big, though? I mean, Feferi isn't the strongest troll even though she has fuschia blood and Vriska has psychic powers even though she's a blue-blood.
the difference between blood colors is that big, the things you just said are very good points of evidence. lower bloods are more prone to psychic powers as higher bloods are more prone to physical strength. high bloods also have longer lifespans, trolls of aradia’s blood color only last a number of sweeps (if i remember correctly, the estimate was the equivalent of around 30 years?) while fuchsia bloods could live for thousands of years.
vriska herself said she was a bit of an exception to the psychic rule, though, and feferi may not be the strongest but i’ll be damned if i said that girl isn’t fit. she spends all day swimming and she pulled a full size whale down in the ocean to feed her ferocious monster of a mom, if that’s not a display of physical strength then i don’t know what is.
