so pages work from the bottom up on developing their personality using the aspect. i glanced the wiki to check i wasn’t fucking up, and they mention how that the pages we’ve seen seem to have something missing? such as tavros is missing legs, jake is missing a dreamself and horrus didn’t feel complete? so i suppose that confirms the self-growth a little further

once they’ve reach the self-realization, i suppose the talent is then that they have full mastery over their power and can then attack/help/ect.–we don’t really know where the are on the passive/active spectrum

so a page would basically,, need to master space to reach self-enlightenment.. basically?

rage seems to be literal rage.. (as in blinding rage if you take into account the terezi/vriska showdown)

so instead of enticing rage as gamzee seems to do, a thief would steal it and use it for their own gain

ehhhhh the explanation i think makes the most sense is that their aspect gives them information–so as a mage of doom, sollux received information on the damnation of the group, whilst meulin would recieve information from the soul of others

space is then very literal, as in the area around them and such

so a mage of space w/could receive information from space

but yeah, there’s really no strictly ‘this does x and x’ for mages because doom and mage are so under-explored in the comic

when we examine blood in karkat and kankri, it does not seem to be in a literal sense

blood is more like blood brothers—the relationships you have between yourself and others around you. the idea of kankri being a seer of blood, was that he could see the faults in everyone around him and how those faults were hindering their relationships/community feelings, so he tried to point them out and fix the relationships (not that i’m saying it was the right thing to do)

karkat’s can be seen in his determination to stop people from fighting and trying to get them to work together—so prominent that even vriska calls him out on it. it’s argueable that his pacification of gamzee was him actively weaponizing his aspect in a confrontational situation, to protect gamzee and everyone around him.

so if blood is about friendships/relationships/ties to other people, and a witch is a manipulator—then it’s conceivable that a witch of blood would manipulate the relationships around them
