The nightmare was with gamzee killed nepeta if that helps it make more sense. He screamed a horrible noise after seeing it which made meulin deaf.

I'm confused- according to Aranea's expositions about Kurloz, she says he had a nightmare "which prompted a bizarre incident, after which he would never speak again. He took a sort of spiritual vow of silence...", but then later mentions the nightmare he had with Meulin after which he chewed off his tongue and sewed his mouth shut. So was that the same nightmare she's talking about, or were they separate and that he stopped talking before the incident involving Meulin?

well, the bizarre incident she’s talking about is probably the horrible noise he made which made meulin go deaf, but that was caused by the nightmare, so it’s basically the same event uvu

I'm sorry if this is on the wiki but I don't think it is, how does Meulin hear what others(not counting Kurloz) are saying if she is deaf? Or is she just partly deaf?

they used to talk by talking, but then meulin went deaf and kurloz sewed his mouth shut, and now they speak through sign language, and kurloz also can mind control her and speak to her telepathically?? i guess haha
